Mum of 3 adult children. Tennis Comp player & sports fanatic.
A friend introduced me to Kdrama a few years ago. I watched BoF, then
needed to find out more about who this character Ji-Hoo was. I found – Kim Hyun-Joong and watched every YT video I could find. Joined KHJ’s Facebook page and watched HJ Channel & Everyday Joong every week. (That hasn’t changed). I was then addicted to the beautiful heart, sharing his talents to the world and his music soothing my soul. I have gone through some bad experiences in my life. Finding Kim Hyun Joong & the Henecia sisterhood, has helped in so many ways. The friendships, of like minded women, we will have for a lifetime.

I am one of the Admins from Henecia DownUnder and I am from Rural Victoria, Australia.I am a Midwife, a mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 beautiful grandchildren. I was working in the COVID wards in a major Melbourne hospital, nursing, in 2020 for about 8mths and about to give up when I heard KHJs song Oasis. The words of the song gave me hope to continue and to give hope to those who were also about to give up. After following KHJ for a long time I discovered others that shared the same feelings as I. So I then googled and found Henecia DownUnder and joined. I have had so much fun and laughter till my stomach hurt that I am hoping to encourage others to join us

Hi my name is Chrissi (Christine). I am one of the admin for Henecia Downunder from Perth Western Australia. I am originally from Christchurch, New Zealand; moving to Australia when I was 21. I am a coordinator and teacher in early childhood; single mother of two teen boys. After my life took an unexpected turn in 2018, I became interested in Korean dramas. My journey with Hyun Joong began very much like others; through seeing him in BOF. I continued to spend much of my life in a stalled state until last year when I reconnected with Hyun Joong. I cannot tell you for definite why I became such a dedicated supporter of his, it just happened. What I can tell you is I did bond with him over his unfortunate experiences, as we have this in common. He is the first person to say aloud what I was thinking and how I felt, which gives me great comfort when those thoughts still creep in unexpectedly. This is why my favourite song is Unbreakable.
